Who is Responsible for Your Success? by Jack Canfield, America’s #1 Success Coach

This isn’t a trick question.

Certainly you know the answer–the person who has been responsible for the life you live right now: YOU.

Everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing… Your income. Debt. Relationships. Health. Fitness level. Attitudes and behaviors.

I think everyone knows this in their hearts, but often times people convince themselves into thinking that external factors are the source of their failure, disappointment, and unhappiness.

External factors do not determine how you live. YOU are in complete control of the quality of your life.

When I hear people complain about the state of their life (be it their problems with personal finances, weight, their jobs, or general dissatisfaction) I like to help them see things differently.

If they feel “stuck” and unable to move forward for whatever reason, I ask them to scrutinize both what is working well and what isn’t working well in their life and see how they’ve arrived at where they currently are.

For example, if a woman tells me she’s unhappy with her weight–she travels frequently, and has no to time to exercise or seek healthy foods–I point out that her weight is not a result of her travels and schedule. It’s an outcome of what she chooses to eat and how she chooses to move, regardless of her daily agenda. Why not make a conscious effort to pre-plan healthy meals and snacks, even if it’s on the go, and sneak in 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there to be physically active (hey, I know some frequent flyers who make it a habit of running through airports!).

If you’re frustrated with any area in your life, then it’s time to take a little inventory. Certainly there are wonderful things happening, whether it’s your job, your romantic relationship, your children, your friends, or your income level. Your accomplishments are just as important as your missteps.

First, congratulate yourself on your successes; and then take a look at what isn’t working out so well. What are you doing or not doing to create those experiences?

Watch out! If you find yourself beginning to complain about everything but the choices you’ve made, then you need to take a step back. See if you can stop blaming outside factors for your unhappiness.

When you realize that you–and only you–create your experiences, you’ll realize that you can un-create them and forge new experiences whenever you want.

How empowering is that!

You must take responsibility for your happiness and your unhappiness, your successes and your failures, your good times and your bad times.

All too often we choose to claim the successes and blame the failures on others or other circumstances. When you stop blaming, however, you can take that energy and redirect it to focus on shaping a better situation for yourself. Blaming only ties up your energy. Imagine roping all the energy into a positive effort.

Some ideas to make this happen:

Believe, Believe, Believe! Have unwavering faith in yourself, for good and bad. Make the decision to accept the fact that you create all your experiences. You will experience successes thanks to you, and you will experience pain, struggle, and strife thanks to you. Sounds a little strange, but accepting this level of responsibility is uniquely empowering. It means you can do, change, and be anything. Stumbling blocks become just that–little hills to hop over.

Take no less than 100% responsibility . Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the actions they take. They don’t waste their time and energy blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and take risks in order to create the life they want to live.

Stop complaining . Look at what you are complaining about. I’m fat. I’m tired. I can’t get out of debt. I won’t ever get a better job. I can’t stand the relationship I have with my sister. I’ll never find a soulmate in life. Really examine your complaints. More than likely you can do something about them. They are not about other people, other things, or other events. They are about YOU.

Make an immediate change. Are you unhappy about something that is happening right now? Make requests that will make it more desirable to you, or take the steps to change it yourself. Making a change might be uncomfortable for you. It might mean you have to put in more time, money, and effort. It might mean that someone gets upset about it, or makes you feel bad about your decision. It might be difficult to change or leave a situation, but staying put is your choice so why continue to complain?

You can either do something about it or not. It is your choice and you have responsibility for your choices.

Pay attention. Looking to others for help and guidance is helpful, but don’t forget to stay tuned in to yourself–your behavior, attitude, and life experiences. Identify what’s working and what isn’t. If you need to, write it all down. Then…

Face the truth and take action for the long term . You have to be willing to change your behavior if you want a different outcome. You have to be willing to take the risks necessary to get what you want. If you’ve already taken an initial step in the right direction, now’s the time to plan additional steps to keep moving you forward, faster.

Isn’t it a great relief to know that you can make your life what you want it to be? Isn’t it wonderful that your successes do not depend on someone else?

So if you need just one thing to do different today than you did yesterday, make it this:

Commit to taking 100% responsibility for every aspect of your life. Decide to make changes, one step at a time. Once you start the process you’ll discover it’s much easier to get what you want by taking control of your thoughts, your visualizations, and your actions!     www.FreeSuccessStrategies.com  Thank You Jack!

The Missing Secret: It makes all the difference

I was fortunate enough to come across an amazing audiobook this past week called “The Missing Secret”  written by Dr. Joe Vitale.  Most are familiar with Vitale from his role in Rhonda Byrnes’ movie and book “The Secret”.  Vitale has been a leader in the marketing and personal development arenas for many years and this latest information details the 5 steps in putting The Secret to work for you all of the time, every time, in your life.  Much of this information is also in his book called “The Attractor Factor” BUT it has been expanded upon and detailed differently along with the fact that Vitale has included some new clearing techniques to help put the information into play for the reader/listener even faster.

Many times we read or listen to information and hopefully find value with it.  Sometimes we are even lucky enough to enjoy it so much we will quote some portion of it, talk about it with someone else and maybe, just maybe, actually DO something with it.  This books was so unbelievable, so phenomenal that we have listened to it twice, had hours upon hours of discussions about it with each other, talked with friends and family about the information, and have instituted A WHOLE BUNCH into our daily practices.  I stated in the title of this entry that this missing secret- Vitale’s book- makes all the difference.  It is just so true!  We have seen these actions yield results- immediately!

Vitale shows the reader 5 essential steps and expands on the best ways to implement these into your daily life.  Basically, these tools will help you become clear on what it is that you really want- determine what your true intention is.  Also to make sure that your intention is 180 degrees from what you DON’T want.  You are also led through getting rid of the deep seeded beliefs we have that counteract our ability to achieve our goals and utilize the law of attraction in the way we are initially wanting.  Vitale goes through techniques to clear out these thoughts, theories, beliefs, etc.  Once you have these limitations cleared Vitale walks you through “Neville-izing” your goals.  This simply has you adding as much detail, feeling, pictures, scents, anything possible to intensify the visualization and to imagine it as if you have already accomplished your goal.  Putting yourself into the position of complete achievement and setting your mind, your vibration, your entire being into alignment with getting you exactly what you want.

Probably the most profound piece I got from this book was his last key- releasing the attachment and learning how to be happy “now”.  Vitale goes on to detail how realizing that you don’t really need what it is that you want, that you will be just fine without it, just the icing on the cake so to speak, will release the desperation and all negative energy being sent to it.  Happiness comes and goes and really has nothing to do with materialistic wants and desires.  Vitale made me realize that once we attain what we want, the happiness diminishes rather quickly and our brains begin to find something new to focus on as a means to the end of us being happy.  Once we are able to find our happiness within- to be happy with what we already have and release all of the other things.  To just be happy with what and who we are, then the world is in vibration with us and will bring all of the “extras” the “icing” to us- happiness brings more happiness!

Gratitude cannot be forgotten in this entire exercise.  We must see and feel all that we have, all that we have been blessed with and be truly grateful for it.  As we do this, we open ourselves to being able to receive even more.  The best way to be successful is to help others attain and achieve their success- to put ourselves out for others and help them- to delight in their happiness and be grateful for being able to be a part of this journey and assist them.

I am happy and have seen just how powerful this book is.  I encourage everyone to add this to their library and actually put into action within their lives.  May this year be the best one ever for you and may you be blessed with happiness, love, wealth and health.

Happy New Year- Make 2009 your best year ever!

Good Day, Happy New Year, and To Your Success-
As 2008 came to a close last year there were many memories, great and those we wish would have been better, to look back upon.  We can honestly say that overall, 2008 was a phenomenal year.  We have both experienced such growth, personally and in our business.  We were able to visit Rome, Italy and Oahu, Hawaii with Liberty League in our conferences.  Not only did we enjoy the locales but also had the opportunity to learn from and speak one on one with world class speakers, mastermind with millionaires, and meet some of the most amazing people in the world.  Never before have we experienced such happiness, peace and joy than with our associates and LLI friends.  Thank you all!!  We are so grateful for each and everyone of you and for all that you have added to our lives as a whole and our business as well.
Do you wish certain things could have been better in some part of your year?  I think most of us have things we want to change, improve upon, and make better for the coming year.  The absolute best thing is that ANYTHING is possible and you can create the exact future you desire.  Probably the hardest part in that realization is that we really do create EVERYTHING in our lives- good, bad, positive, negative, what we liked and even what we didn’t like.  LLI, our team, and your advisors can help you create all that you desire.  We have such power and that power is magnified exponentially when we come together, work together and support one another.  We are here for you and are here to support you in your journey of success.
We are including a little list of things that will help you in all aspects of your life and be sure to apply the KAM=P principles as you evaluate 2008 and the coming 2009 according to the 6 items below.
1. Know Your Goal -have your goals written out and spend time visualizing them.
2. Engage in Personal Development – do your Beyond Freedom everyday.
3. Income Producing Activities – consistent action daily.
4. Mastermind with Leaders – be at every event, listen to every training call!
5. Expect Leadership Of Yourself and Your Prospects/Associates – Lead from the top and act as though you could only win!
6.  Experience and live your life through GRATITUDE!!  As you open yourself to expressing your gratitude you also open yourself to be able to receive even more to be grateful for.
Looking forward to seeing you all in LA and can’t wait to celebrate our success with you as we also celebrate your successes.  We have absolutely no doubt that 2009 will be the absolute best year of our lives.  Thank you again, and have a great start to the year.

The First 3 Steps To Reach Your Goals

th_wealth1-   Write out your personal vision statement.

This will sound very easy to some and insurmountable to others.  Some will even want to skip this and not see the monumental value or understand how best to accomplish this.  First, you must decide what it really is that you want out of life and what you want to accomplish while you are in this life.  Think broad statement, global aspect, how or in what way do you want to impact the world or society with your life.  This is your ultimate, end result that you are working towards.  In some cultures they believe your vision is the overarching theme to your existence. This is not to be confused with your goals however.  They come next and are a means for you to ultimately attain your vision.

2-   Make a detailed list of your goals- these may be small and very specific, or larger and broader.

These are the steps and accomplishments you will experience victory through on your journey to accomplishing your vision.  We like to think of these as markers along the road to let you know just how far you have come as well as how far you have left to go.  Goals need to have two components- they need to tell you (and everyone else) exactly how much and by when you are accomplishing, and then to be framed in a specific and positive way.  Vague goals produce vague results.  Include all possible details, these details give more validity to your goals in your brain and are more easily attained.

3-   Finally, you need to chunk down your goals into action steps.

This is really the nitty-gritty to receiving what you truly want out of this life.  These are the day-to-day tasks you need to work on or accomplish in order to attain your goals.  Each action step takes you one step closer to reaching your goal and achieving your vision.

Some of you will say you don’t know what to write as your vision, goals, or action steps.  The vision is a detailed picture of what you would like to look back on your life and be able to say you had a hand in accomplishing or making better.  Once you know where you want to go in this life and what you want to receive from this life you can visually place yourself in that time and place and look back.  Imagine you are being interviewed by Katie Couric and she asks you “what was it that you did to make to where you are now”- make sure you have mentally placed yourself already having achieved and actively experiencing the completion of your vision.  Take a moment and look back over time and allow your mind to tell you what things did you accomplish in order to get to where you wanted to be?  How did accomplishing those items make you feel?  Then, get even more specific with yourself and look to see what daily things made it possible for you to achieve those goals.  Jack Canfield, in “The Success Principles”, tells us that our brain is capable of accomplishing absolutely anything that we want.  “The brain is a goal-seeking organism.”  We only have to allow it to do so.  Nothing is out of reach or impossible and we already have everything we need within ourselves to achieve each and every thing we desire.  Those things we do not already posses or know our brain will align for us to find or encounter, the people we need to assist us in our journey will be brought to us.  With constant and impassioned thought, we can attain and achieve all that we most desire.  The first step though, is to write down in vivid detail what we want and how we plan to get it.  www.wealthy-resources.com

Kreate the Life you want at KAM=P

KAM=P

This is the simplest philosophy I have ever come up with. This a
guaranteed formula to assist you in achieving ANY goal and
explaining why you have or have not achieved things in the past.

K = Knowledge (personal development, Beyond Freedom Program,
training calls, conferences)
A = Application (marketing, advertising, DMO, returning calls timely)
M = Motivation (being clear on why you are here and what you want to
achieve)

P = Performance (the result or outcome, what you get in return)

If we are to utilize this as a mathematical formula we can see that
if we have the ability to place effort in levels of 1-9 with 1 being
low and 9 being all out the answers are clear.

K X A X M = P
1 X 1 X 1 = 1
9 X 1 X 1 = 9
3 X 3 X 3 = 27
5 X 5 X 5 = 125
9 X 9 X 9 = 729

You can obviously insert any number on the effort level into the
different categories and see the outcome you can expect. The other
thing to remember is this is assuming you are giving at least a
level one of effort in each category. The laws of multiplication
tell us that if you multiply ANYTHING by zero you will ALWAYS get an
end result of ZERO!

You must be honest with yourself as well, is the level of effort I
am expending really the level I think it is or am I just spinning my
wheels? Parents have forever sent their children to camp to come
back more mature, more well-rounded individuals, and more inspired.
Send yourself to KAMP and achieve what you truly desire!   http://wealthy-resources.com

Millionaire Secret Revealed

images-11

  • The quickest way to a million dollars is by living through an attitude of gratitude. So often we think our individual role is insignificant or we can’t do much on our own. The thought that one person can make a difference is what we should be fostering in ourselves and others. Often we are appreciative of others, of things, of our circumstances, but we don’t outwardly show this appreciation. I am often reminded that a gift is not really a fits until it is given. Gratitude is the most powerful gift in the world, but keeping it to yourself and not expressing, not telling those you are grateful leaves an empty void. I have a practice that each and every day while I am in the shower, I think of as many thing as possible that I am genuinely and sincerely grateful for. I say thank you mentally to each person, each action, each item I have been blessed with. I also every week send out 3 email or cards to people expressing my heart felt gratitude for their role in my life. I have started having my students keep a gratitude journal where each week day they must write down 3 things in their lives they are grateful for. By centering my focus throughout the day on all that I have to be grateful for, it makes me better aware of just how fortunate I am. More so, I also see how much I have grown, accomplished, and achieved. It improves my frame of mind and helps keep me positive even in the darkest of times. When I experience a set back or just have a down or bad day, I immediately start saying my gratitudes again. Through this process, I have been able to reformat my thought process and achieve even more in my day to day life. I have seen a positive influence as well on the people I am around just from them feeding off my positive vibration. I also believe it shows me and others that as I achieve more, am blessed with more, or are given more, my gratitude will also increase. Everyone likes to feel appreciated. All of us enjoy the feeling of being valued by others. Gratitude will bring so many amazingly positive things in your life. If you are not experiencing great achievements in all parts of your life, perhaps you need to take a look at how grateful you have been and what you really need to center your thought on. Is it what you are lacking? or should it instead be what you have been fortunate enough to have already. Enjoy your Christmas holiday and relish in the gratitude of your lives. http://www.wealthy-resources.com
